sorry, my camera is not working for some reason

41:43
Ruth, you’ve been thinking about and observing this phenomenon for a couple of decades. I’m curious about changes over time.

51:12
Did you reach all of the types of grandparents--who was missing from your focus groups? how did the findings differ across types of grandparents?

52:50
where does that pressure come from? is it internal or external?

54:40
also curious to know if shame plays a role here… shame for not doing “enough” Jewishly (even though we know that is not a factor)

54:41
Do the grandparents who aren't Jewish feel welcomed by the Jewish community?

55:36
I want to lift up Melissa’s question about shame (and the sources of or reasons for shame). I’m curious about that too.

01:05:09
The reform movement starting using “adjacent” too… still trying to figure out how it sits with me (and others)

01:24:13
Sorry that I have to leave for another meeting. Be well and stay safe, everyone! Jonathan

01:28:06
Thank you Ruth for the presentation. Apologies for leaving early, I have another meeting.

01:29:49
Would it be possible to get a copy of Ruth's slides? Thanks,.

01:30:22
Ruth, what are the messages you think Jewish parents should be giving their children as they're growing up? That they should ideally marry Jews (but will be accepted if they don't)? That it doesn't matter and they should just date/marry whomever they love?

01:36:31
the Covenant Foundation is working on what you just shared Ruth… that by simply sharing your story helps develop the child’s intergenerational self and builds resilience in children and teens.

01:40:37
And so important for the reality of the contemporary Jewish community. Thanks!

01:40:54
Thank you so much!

01:41:02
thank you … this was great :)

01:41:03
Thanks
