Jones on Investing in Criminal Justice and Youth Justice Reform. Jones is the President and CEO of the Public Welfare Foundation. As noted on their website, "For over seventy years, Public Welfare Foundation has supported efforts to advance justice and opportunity for people in need. Today, our efforts focus on catalyzing a transformative approach to justice that is community-led, restorative, and racially just through investments in criminal justice and youth justice reforms."
As noted in her bio on the Foundation website, Jones previously "served as Senior Advisor at Chicago CRED, an organization that focuses on gun violence in Chicago... [and] as Director of the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice.... She also served as a White House Fellow [and]... a program officer with the MacArthur Foundation.... Candice received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri."
