Chair Yoga for All: Connecting Breath and Movement for All Types of Bodies
Join registered yoga teacher, Dimple Patel ’12 for a gentle chair yoga series that connects breath and movement. This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or using a chair for support during standing poses. Chair yoga is especially suitable for older adults, people with disabilities, folks who are working to build their balance and coordination, and is ideal for people who work long hours on a computer. No prior yoga experience is needed. Come as you are.

This event is hosted by the Alumni of Color Network and Brandeisians of the Last Decade (BOLD).

Waiver Agreement:
“I choose to participate in the yoga classes offered by Dimple Patel and Brandeis. I recognize that the yoga classes require physical exertion which may cause physical injury. I am fully aware that there are possible risks involved. I recognize the various suggested poses should be approached in a gentle fashion. If any movement brings discomfort, I know to modify the pose as deemed necessary to my physical needs. I agree to assume full responsibility for any injuries sustained and I release Dimple Patel and Brandeis from any and all liability as a consequence of my participation in yoga classes. I have read and fully understand this waiver & release and accept its contents."
